Prof. Wenliang (Kevin) Du, Syracuse University, USA IEEE Fellow Dr. Wenliang (Kevin) Du, IEEE Fellow, is the Laura J. and L. Douglas Meredith Professor at Syracuse University. His current research interest focuses on Internet/blockchain emulation and cybersecurity education. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1993 and Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in 2001. He founded the SEED-Labs open-source project in 2002. The cybersecurity lab exercises developed from this project are now being used by 1,070 institutes worldwide. His self-published book, “Computer & Internet Security: A Hands-on Approach”, has been adopted as textbook by 260 institutes. He is the recipient of the 2017 Academic Leadership award from the 21st Colloquium for Information System Security Education. His research has been sponsored by multiple grants from the National Science Foundation and Google. He is a recipient of the 2021 ACSAC Test-of-Time Award and the 2013 ACM CCS Test-of-Time Award. | |
Prof. Dragan Gasevic, Monash University, Australia ACM member Dragan Gašević is Professor of Learning Analytics in the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence of the Faculty of Information Technology and the Director of the Centre for Learning Analytics at Monash University. Dragan’s research interests in learning analytics center around the development of computational and design methods that advance understanding of self-regulated and collaborative learning. He is a founder and served as the President (2015-2017) of the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR). In 2019-2022, he was recognized as the national field leader in educational technology in The Australian’s Research Magazine. In 2022, he received Lifetime Member Award as the highest distinction of SoLAR and was recognized as a Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery. | |
Prof. Prof Qing Li, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China IEEE Fellow Prof Qing Li is a Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Computing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his B.Eng. from Hunan University (Changsha), and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Southern California (Los Angeles), all in computer science. His research interests include multi-modal data management, conceptual data modeling, social media, Web services, and e-learning systems. He has authored/co-authored over 500 publications in these areas. He is actively involved in the research community and has served as an associate editor of a number of major technical journals including IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence (TAI), IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems (TCDS), IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), ACM Transactions on Internet Technology (TOIT), Data Science and Engineering (DSE), and World Wide Web (WWW) Journal, in addition to being a Conference and Program Chair/Co-Chair of numerous major international conferences. He also sits/sat on the Steering Committees of DASFAA, ER, ACM RecSys, IEEE U-MEDIA, WISE and ICWL. Prof. Li is a Fellow of IEEE. | |
Prof. Haijun Zhang, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China IEEE Fellow Zhang Haijun is a professor and doctoral supervisor of University of Science and Technology Beijing, a member of the National Excellent Youth Science Fund, a senior member of IEEE, a member of the Young Science Club of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and a member of the Young Talents Entrusted Project of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology. Previously engaged in postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada. Presided over 1 National Science Fund for Outstanding Youth Project, 2 General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 Scientific Research Fund of the Ministry of Education-China Mobile, State Grid and many other projects. Served as the editorial board member of IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, and IEEE Communications Letters. Published more than 50 SCI papers in IEEE authoritative journals Zone 1 and Zone 2; Won the Best Young Author Paper Award of the IEEE Institute of Communications, the Young Scientist Award of the International Radio Science Union, and the Young Science and Technology Award of the China Institute of Communications. | |
